Clinical Supervision

For Interns and LMFT Associates

Provided by Simone Reed, LMFT-S

I understand how important the decision of choosing your supervisor is in your professional journey. Supervisors play an crucial role in your growth to becoming the most authentic and effective therapist you can be. I will not only walk this journey alongside you, but also challenge you to learn and grow your therapeutic skills via creative interventions. Below you can read more about my personal style of supervision.

Approach

Supportive, Engaging, and Challenging

My approach delves into the person-centered, systemic, and constructivist models. This means I prioritize understanding you and the relational systems that have shaped you as a person and therapist. I focus on your needs as a supervisee and help you develop into the therapist YOU want to be. You will grow in learning how your strengths and challenges show up in the therapy room.

My experience of supervision mostly consisted of mundane case consultation sessions that frankly got boring over time. While case consultation is necessary, I also incorporate creative activities and learning opportunities to keep the process interesting for us both.

Each supervisor/supervisee relationship is different. I cater my interventions and support to your presenting interests and areas of growth.

  • Formal Interview for us to meet either virtually or in person to discuss finding of quizzes and other supervision curiosities
